πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ What is a Formative Assessment?

A tool for educators to build on their knowledge about the child's abilities and to be able to identify the child's learning abilities that will support you as an Educator to identify the learning focus (individual goal) the child needs at that time.
It is an Assessment β€˜for children’s learning’, also known as formative assessment, it is information you have observed over a period of time, about what children know, can do, needs further support with and for you as the professional to document and analyse the information to inform pedagogy and planning.

The formative assessment will help the educator create an 'individual goal' and have a clear vision in collaboration with the family.

Each section needs to be filled in to create clear learning evidence.
